The HBA of Hartford County, Inc. is a non-profit trade association serving builders, remodelers, and members of associated trades doing business in the Hartford, Tolland, and Middlesex Counties of Connecticut. We have been serving the industry since 1944.
As a professional trade association, we strive to not only further our industry in regards to quality, but we also work to educate the public concerning consumer relevant issues, such as: how to hire a builder; the home buying/home improvement process; and technologies and developments which affect the consumer in this process. We are also the producers of the state's longest running home show: the Original Connecticut Home Show, which celebrated its 60th Anniversary in 2007.
As a service to consumers, the HBA of Hartford County, Inc. makes available a listing of its members for referrals. Please contact our office or email us with an explanation of your proposed project if you are looking to build or remodel! Though the Association does not take on liability for its members, in selecting a member of the HBA of Hartford County, you are assured that she/he has been accepted by his or her peers through the membership process and has agreed to the Association's Code of Ethics.
